World

Cheyenne Berean is privileged in having a world wide impact. Besides our career missionaries, we support SportReach, Maranatha Bible Camp, the National and International Church Planting of the Berean Fellowship of Churches. Short term mission trips as also part of our world wide impact. We have been represented in Albania, Australia, Belarus, Cameroon, Canada, India, Mexico, Peru, Siberia, Russia, and Zambia.


Belgium

Fred and Janet Young, Fred and Janet Young are completing their second term of ministry in the city of Brussels, Belgium. The goal is to build the church in Belgium through prayer, evangelism and discipleship. The tools of ministry that they use are cell-group, sports camp, and one on one discipleship. They are beginning a new church plant. Fred grew up in the Denver area and attended Junior College in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, before attending Bible college and seminary. While at Dallas Seminary, he met Janet, who was an MK ("missionary kid") from Belgium. The Youngs have three children, Wesley, Chelsea, and Julia.


China

Bill and Linda Axline, WorldVenture: Bill & Linda have finished the initial phase of Language school for Chinese ministry. They work in Macau with CBI’s Great Wall Ministry team, teaching and training leaders for the church in China.


Colorado

Stanton and Janet Spiess, American Missionary Fellowship: Stan and Jan Spiess have moved to southeastern Colorado. They are busy becoming acquainted with the people. Their goal is to begin an evangelical, evangelistic work in this area. Stan enjoys reading, rafting, photography, and horseback riding. He especially enjoys reading Chuck Colson, R.C. Sproul, and Larry Crabb. Janet enjoys reading, oil painting, discipling, and Bible study. Her favorite authors are Carol Mayhall, Chuck Swindoll, Erwin Lutzer, and Warren Wiersbe. The Spiess are the parents of three children, Scott, Julie, and Liz. Cheyenne Berean is the Spiess’s home church.


Peru

Juan and Eva Barrientos, World Reach: Juan and Eva are new missionaries to Cheyenne Berean. They minister in the country of Peru. Their goal is to see more local churches planted throughout the country of Peru. The strategy is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with children, young people, women and couples. Our goal is to reach children and youth through Bible clubs and discipleship and through the children, reach their parents. We are also multiplying our efforts by training national pastors through the ministry of the Mobile Bible Institute. The end result will be more churches planted.


Wyoming

Darius and Nancy Becker, Child Evangelism Fellowship: Darius and Nancy serve you in the Southeast corner of Wyoming. Child Evangelism is a fellowship of Christians dedicated to the task of winning boys and girls to Christ. It is an international, Bible-centered faith ministry. Ministries include: Good News Clubs, Teacher Training, 5-Day Clubs, Camp Good News, Christian Youth in Action, Tel-A-Story and a variety of other ministries.


Zambia

Bob and Virginia Carpenter, Sudan Interior Mission: Bob and Virginia are involved in church planting in Zambia, Africa. They disciple men and women so that the churches will grow and will be able to install new elders, deacons, deaconesses, or pastors. The Carpenters pastored a Berean church in Guernsey, WY before ministering in Africa. They have been in Africa several years. Bob and Virginia are the parents of four children, Noel, Jason, Dan, and Keri. All of their children are out of high school and now live in the U.S.
